About Benefit Honoring
Mission
Benefit Honoring’s purpose is to build a global community rooted in Indigenous traditional life ways, biocultural conservation and education.
Our History
The Numunuh/Comanche Native American Church 1918 Charter Association proclaims Sia: The Comanche Ethno-Ornithological initiative as Piah Puha Kahni "Mother Church" to the Comanche Native American Church. The official repository and archive for the history, culture, and spirit of the Comanche people. Sia is established on historic lands and preserves actual sacred sites upon which the founders of the 1918 Charter conducted ceremonial meetings. Benefit Honoring has emerged from this history and supports Sia and other mission aligned, traditional and cultural programs throughout Oklahoma and globally.
Our Team
Benefit Honoring is Native American led and its Board of Directors are individuals that serve Indigenous communities. Benefit Honoring has a team of indigenous allies committed to using their influence for the greater good. This leverage is starting to be embraced by powerful corporations and their leaders to enable the people with deep infrastructural assets. We are committed to listening and supporting what these cultures say they need and trust in their cultural connections for the action required.
